Brooke is a new tutor with Sparks Village Academy focusing on reading. Brooke has obtained her Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology and is currently pursuing her Master’s degree in Social Work. Passionate about helping children develop strong literacy skills, Brooke creates engaging, supportive, and personalized learning experiences that cater to each student’s unique needs. Drawing on her background in Psychology, she understands how children learn best, fostering both skill development and confidence. Her goal is not only to enhance reading abilities but also to ignite a genuine love for books and instill a lifelong passion for learning in her students.

Hello! My name is Chloe, and I am a student at Howard University. I am majoring in psychology with a passion for social equity and educational reform. I am also a tutor at the Petey Greene Program. Tutoring and connecting with students is one of the many steps towards academic success. My name is Maliyah Hill, and I am a student at North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University, where I am double majoring in Elementary Education and Psychology. I am honored to be a February One Scholar, a distinction awarded to students who exemplify academic excellence, leadership, and a commitment to service.

Outside of academics, I enjoy living a well-rounded and active lifestyle. Some of my favorite hobbies include playing volleyball, traveling to new places, spending quality time with friends, and participating in extracurricular activities on campus. These experiences allow me to stay balanced, build strong relationships, and continue developing both personally and professionally.
