My Story
My name is Damica Odom-Thorpe, and my work in educational consulting is shaped by both professional experience and lived reality. As an educator, I witnessed firsthand the challenges families face within traditional systems—overcrowded classrooms, limited resources, inequities, and barriers to meaningful engagement. As a parent who homeschools my child, I also bring a personal understanding of navigating learning beyond conventional models. These experiences guide my work supporting families across traditional, alternative, and home-based education pathways, with an approach grounded in flexibility, advocacy, and honoring the unique needs of each learner.
